May New Letters

Each month we will have a new letter to get people know what is going on when real life gets the best of us! So to start off the May news letter:

Designer/new site remolding
thankfully we have a designer by the name of Ru Kountz. She will be helping me over the next few weeks so do not panic if the whole skin changes. You can still posts during this.

Current Plot
The pirates have found Storybrooke! They are running a much and kidnapping people and setting fire to things! If you need to go out, don't go alone!

Seasons/Weather
Keep an eye on the weather,it changes from time to time.

Announcements
If you character gets engaged, married, becomes pregnant or has a baby please post in the appropriate announcement thread so you can get your badge and we can put it up for others to see.

Monthly Character Awards
Each moth we will have character awards that are member voted.. You will see the list over on the left side of the screen. At the end of each month you will vote for them. The winner will get a badge and 500 gold and if you don't get an award you wanted. You can try again the next month! There are some holiday based awards for so keep an eye on those awards will change and be added.

Individual awards:
There are individual awards that can be earned. A few you earn though rping and some you get out of character. Some of them are

Dedication: someone how puts full time effort into the site Ic and OOC

Recruitment badge: Someone who had invited friends to the site and brought friends here

Protection badge: This person is protected by another

Slave: Are you now 'owned' ? This indicates you are

Engaged: Happily engaged? get his badge

Married: Just married? here is badge to say taken!

Pregnant: Here is a badge to show off your baby bump!

New baby: When the bundle of joy (or joys!) arrive you get badge

Killer: This person has killed another player...oh my!! Here is a badge for that.

Site help: If you helped with
the site wither it be backgrounds, pictures for the places or coding then you deserve this badge.

Our Goal

A place to come and relax and unwind from the ups and downs
of real life. Here at Storybrooke we strive to provide our members a
safe and fun place to play and have fun without the threat of
cyber-bullying. We
take cyber-bullying seriously here. We strive to create a close
community where we all new and old feel welcome to come and rant and
play. So that when your feeling alone you can come here and see how many
people care about you.What ever we like, whatever we listen to,
whatever we wear, we are all people, we are all the same, and all we
need is a little faith, so join us here at Storybrooke and stop the hate! We don't judge!

Events
From time to time there will be events like a ball or shop sells. So keep a look out or you might miss and epic deal!

Clubs
We have two clubs, an art club and a writing club. Each month we will having a contest with fabulous prizes sooooooo enter!

Sleeping places
You may notice as you poke around people's profile they have a sleeps in: and a picture. This is because they either- have a job (all jobs come with a place to sleep in) are a member of the local pack or bought a package that came with a house a place to sleep.
