Seeking Out The Woman In The Vision (for Rosalin)

Peter had the strangest vision. He had seen a woman of blue coloring. He had never seen a woman like her before. His vision told him to seek her out. That she would need a friend that had lived here for a long time. It was an odd vision but his visions had never done him wrong. Never once failed him. Most of the time they were either something bad or something good that he wasn't able to find the person in time to tell them about. Other times it was just good. His visions were never wrong. This vision was two parts. He hoped she could understand sign language. Or he would have to use magic to talk. He didn't like doing that because it drained him and required him to think what he wanted to "say". He now stood in the middle of the garden. The place he had seen her most clearly at.

It was time for another visit to the garden.. There were a few flowers she wanted to pick to place on the kitchen table before dinner. And being the picky taur she was, she was going to find the 'perfect' group of flowers. Stepping down the pathway as she looked around.. Letting her hand slide along some of the plants carefully before pausing long enough to take a sniff.. Which was oddly enough consisting of her sticking her tongue out towards the plant..

"Just lovely.." She hummed and picked what was a tulip before continuing on along the garden.. Looking for more flowers to pick. But pausing a bit when she saw that someone else was here.. Not like it was rare.. but she usually came here when it was empty.

Peter was waiting. Looking around for the blue woman. He hadn't seen her yet. He thought he spotted someone but had missed her. When he spotted her and saw her looking in his general direction he headed over to her. ~Hi.~ He started out. ~I'm Peter. I'm a fortune teller slash seer.~ He added. He held out his free hand. Once she shook it he let it go. ~I had a vision concerning you. It told me to come here. That you were new and would need a friend.~

He paused then continued signing. ~I looked for you but the vision showed you here most often. At this time. I am sorry if I disturbed you.~ He hoped she didn't think him crazy. ~I'm Gabriel's friend and his adopted little brother. He adopted me. He said you were working at the castle.~

Her left front leg lifted a little, quite shocked that the person came right up to her. Even ready to flee until he started to introduce himself in sign language..? And with that, she calmed down a bit. Taking his hand and gently shaking before letting go so that he could continue.

"No.. its okay.. I just wasn't expecting to see someone here.." She explained.. She knew sign language, and she knew it quiet well.. The question was, was the man deaf or a mute.. She couldn't help but to ponder that as she watched his hands..

"I um.. I am.. uh.. Your vision's said I needed a friend?" Him being crazy was the last thing on her mind.. She knew magic, and she was aware of the unknown. She would never run from such an encounter such as this.

He smiled as he saw her tension visually go away. That was a relief. It would make this easier. He would have been confused and perhaps a bit upset if she had run off. He wouldn't be upset with her as he probably had startled her. Just upset that it went wrong. He started signing again. ~I understand. I was trying to find you so I could follow what the vision told me. I would enjoy a new friend.~ He said with his hands.

He wasn't deaf. He could hear her and quite well. He was born without a voice. He could use magic sometimes to speak with his mind but it was extremely taxing. He nodded his head at her question. ~Yes. That you would need a new friend to help you adjust to a new land. I've lived here for a while now. Since I was thirteen I have been here. I'm eighteen now.~ He told her slowly. Luckily she seemed to clearly and easily understand what he was saying.

He looked at her. ~It was a two part vision. The part about you needing a friend and me needing to find you was the greatest part.~ He smiled at her. ~I love making new friends. I hope you don't mind me as a friend. It is nice to meet you.~ He smiled at her. ~By the way...your name starts with an -R- but I couldn't catch the whole name during the vision. I apologize for not already knowing it.~ If she asked him which he was, deaf or mute, he would tell her. He was comfortable with his disability...most of the time. Sometimes he wasn't like when dealing with Xion...the kings advisor.

"A new friend would sound lovely.. Being new here; I rarely get out.." Rubbing the side of her head gently.. Now she just assumed that he could hear what she was saying. He wouldn't have answered back.. But she was only assuming.

"I'm Rosalin.. but I mostly go by Lin.. Its nice to meet you Peter.." Bowing her head gently with a gentle smile. Giving her tail a slow wag behind.

Peter smiled at her. ~Than we can be friends.~ He said with a smile. He could hear what she was saying. He wondered curiously why she rarely got out. It wasn't his place to ask though. He was only glad she thought being friends would be a lovely thing. He had been worried this might not go well. It was a relief to him that it had. He smiled at her. Nodding his head. A warm smile on his face. ~Its nice to meet you too Lin.~ He wondered what she was looking for. ~There is some rare flowers over there in that part of the garden.~ He pointed to the part of the garden near the gazebo.

When he mentioned flowers, she looked down and realized she was here for a reason as well, and not just to sit and bask in the sun. Letting her tail take a hold of her flower before smiling again.

"I'm not looking for any flowers in particular. Just makin' a small bouquet for dinner later.. A group that will smell nice together.." Walking around him once with a curl of her tail around him before heading deeper into the garden..

"Want to help me?" She questioned with a curious smile.
