Solo adventure

Dakota was a young one, full of spirit and life. She was back with her Lupa Anya and her pack mate Taya. She was happy, however now she was in a new town with her family which meant exploring! Rushing out of the pack house the young she wolf ran, though the berry patch, past the falls and cutting across the meadows until she reached the forest. She smiled happily as she walked around the forest. Winding around the path exploring the forest for anything unusual or interesting. She found houses but didn't go up to them. The young she wolf was the Bolverk for the Jadestone pack so she needed to know the ins and outs of the forest for her rank title and.....just because it was so fun! The blue eyes danced around the sighted of the magical forest with each light step she took. Oh this place was s beautiful.

Kevin just walked aimlessly. He felt he had no purpose. He had a lot going on in his mind. Every day he spent at the pack he loved dearly the worse he felt. It wasn't their fault. It was just that was where Hope had been. That was where all those good times had come to an end. So he was contemplating telling the Alphas he needed to leave the pack. It was only because the painful memory of what he lost was there. It dug a deeper hole where his heart should be with every passing day. He loved everyone in the pack but it was becoming too unbearable. He had a whole where the shattered remains of his heart should be as a whole heart. He felt no purpose.

The man was even unable to use magic to make himself 6' 10". So he was standing his full half giant height of 7' 10". He wasn't able to see but a single tear trailed down his cheek. Hyros cawwing out instructions and directions so that his person didn't walk into a tree or something. He flew lower than he should just to keep an eye on Kevin. Kevin himself, however, wasn't caring about anything. He was a blind half giant whose world had just been ripped apart. So he walked aimlessly across the lands.

The young she wolf was having tons of fun running around the forest. She saw a low branch and grabbed it pulling herself up crowing on it just before pushing off the branch an phasing into her black wolf form. She looked back as a few leaves feel from the branch as she ran foward. She didn't see Kevin nor get her scent. She wasn't paying attention where she was running as she ran right into His leg. The sudden thud made her shift back as she laid on her back and blinked her eyes before looking up at the tall man but hey when your on the ground everyone was taller then you, "Oh I'm sorry sir. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going." She got up and smiled to him, "I'm Dakota." She said with a smile.

The half giant really didn't even feel Dakota run right into the back of his leg. It was like a bump but he was much taller than her wolf form so it barely registered. It didn't help that his mind was depressed along with his heart. He only turned when Hyros cawwed and tugged his hair as he flew past to make him turn around. So he did. He turned around and faced the girl. However, due to being blind he didn't look at her. Just in her general direction. "Its alright. Neither was I." He said softly. His voice filled with undertones and echoings of pain. Hyros flew down and landed on her shoulder. Looking up at her like I'm a pretty birdie. Why don't you pet my head? Kevin didn't see her smile but he felt it. He couldn't even fake a smile right now. "I'm Kevin. The hawk is Hyros. He is my eyes to the world." He said in a broken and somewhat dead sounding voice. "You okay?"
