Rylee led the man named Sam and the nameless women back to her house. It was a medium sized him with vines covering most of the brick wall. She walked over the log and into her yard. Reaching the porch fist she turned to make sure she didn't loose them. Once she made sure they where still there. She pushed open the door and moved aside letting them in the kitchen. She shut and locked the door behind her and moved past them, "Come follow me, you can put her in the spare room." She said pushing open another door. It was a pretty big room, with a window, two dressers made of wood, a bedside table and a trunk. Very country, very old fashioned. She moved to let him lay her on the bed if he wanted to and looked at her letting out a light sigh, she still felt so bad for her, the least she could do was let them use her home. Damian would understand.

Damian had slipped out past the healers. Waited until shift change. He had forced himself out of bed. That had hurt like hell. Everything ached and the wounds were deep enough they were still healing. His movements when he was supposed to be resting tore open the stiches. So it was stinging when he limped slash walked from the Sanctuary. He had slipped out and barely escaped one of the older healers. He wasn't stoppable though. Those beds there were lumpy and uncomfortable. Plus he wanted to be in his OWN bed. Resting, by force because if it was up to him he would be working already, next to his white rose.

He limped towards the Enchanted Falls. Staggering a bit. Blood trailing down his naked chest. He went past the man with the woman in his arms. Not seeing them as he was barely awake. In fact he was passing out with each passing moment. His energy level was little to none and he forced himself from the coastline to here. Rylee was SOOO gonna yell at him. It was worth it though...to be home. He managed to make it into the front door. "Rylee...I'm home." His words came out somewhat slurred due to pain. Then he started swaying. Collapsing to the ground. Just sorta...falling onto the floor limply.

He was still awake just was that damn weak and pushed himself beyond the limits and then some. "Whose the people?" He gets out in a hiss of air. His body now felt like lead. Totally worth it to be in his own home with his mate. Not that he thought it was gonna go over lightly with her.

The trip to the home was not a long one, which Samyaza was grateful. Not because of the weight of the woman he carried, she hardly weighed a thing to him, but mostly it was the amount of time she spent in such a state in public. Call it paranoia from years and years of hunting evil, but Samyaza was not one to dwell in the open for long, not when he was tending to a charge who could not defend themselves.

Out of habit he cast his senses out to check the area for any signs of evil, of course he found nothing but old habits died hard; especially with how long he has been alive. Briefly he made note of his surroundings, the layout of the land around the house, subconsciously making possibly escape routes and the best locations for an assault.

Once inside the home he relaxed, somewhat, but still held the young woman close to him. When shown to the spare room he gently laid the young woman down on the bed.

“Here we are my dear,” he said in almost a cooing tone as he adjusted her gently in the bed, to what he assumed would be most comfortable. Looking over his shoulder and up at the other woman, “Might I be able to trouble you for water? Like a glass of water and perhaps, a bowl with a rag?” his tone soft as he looked at her from the edge of the bed.

Staying in the corner of the bedroom stayed Rylee nodding to him before quietly slipping out of the room wondering about a million things at the moment as she pulled out the silver tray filling two glasses of water, then came the bowel with luke warm water and a fluffy white clean rag folded neatly on the tray. She picked it back up and walked back into the room setting it on the trunk that was at the foot of the bed, "Here you go." She told him handing him one glass of water followed by the tray.

Taking the offered glass of water Samyaza drank deeply, despite his earlier dip in the pool beneath the waterfall he was actually rather parched from his journey. Setting his glass down he focused on the bowl of water and towel next, dipping the soft material into the bowl and wringing it out just enough so that it was damp before using it to wipe along her face, neck and forehead.

“And you do not know this woman? Do not know anything about her at all?” Samyaza asked, as he wet the rag again, repeating his earlier actions.

She shook her head making her blonde curls bounce, "No. I was on my way to work and I saw her on the ground shaking. I approached her and she flipped out then you came along pointing your sword at me. You know as much as I do." She explained moving to lean against the window sill on the opposite side of the bed then him.

Setting the rag down he goes to her as she stands by the window, reaching for her hand “I cannot express to you how much I regret my earlier actions,” While holding her hand within his own, he gazes into her eyes a light frown coming to his lips as his inner shame shone through his eyes, "I cannot express to you how much I am shamed for my actions against you earlier. Pulling my sword on a lady as pure and good as yourself was just wrong beyond words. Please allow me to make it up to you, " bringing her hand to his lips he kisses the back of it softly, "Anything that you wish or desire of me to do I am yours. Until my misdeeds to you are made amends," his voice soft though completely sincere.

She watched him set the rag down and walk over her, when he reached for her hand she let him take it. Hearing his words she let out a light, quiet breath. Her violet eyes locked with his eyes as he saw the shame which made her feel bad...once more. Her cheeks turned a tiny bit red as he kissed her hand, "No. It's okay. You where protecting a women who looked like she was begin harmed...you don't need to make it up to me. Besides the only thing that would make my life perfect was if my mate Damian was healed from his wounds he got while he was working..he's the Captain of the guards and was attacked." She explained and feel quiet as her eyes began to shine with worry before she blinked and looked down a hand going to her cheek trying to regain control of her emotions.

On instinct his own hand came up, the back of his hand brushing against her cheek to wipe away her tears, “Thy wish, is my command” he said softly, smiling softly to her kissing her hand once more just as the scent of fresh blood filled the room.

"Whose the people?" He gets out in a hiss of air.

Turning swiftly, he intentionally placed himself in front of Rylee, his body tense as he observes the new addition to the room. Arching an eyebrow and letting out a breath with a sigh, “I take it that this is your...mate?” he frowned going to the bloody mess of a man on the floor.

“You know, leaving such a bloody trail to the home of your...mate, is not really smart. Tactically, enemies could follow you back here and then she would be vulnerable. As while I am sure she can take care of herself, she would also be trying to protect you” Samyaza lectured the injured man, as he kneels beside him. The baby blue of Samyaza's eyes being consumed by light as his power came forth. The same light in his eyes appearing on his hands as he held them above the injured man and began to heal him. “Then of course there is the other incapacitated person, whom your mate was gracious enough to allow to rest within her home”

If it was one thing that Samyaza could not stand it was carelessness, carelessness at the expense of those whom you were supposed to protect.

She felt the brushing of his hand on her cheek making her
look back up at him as a few tears fell and rolled down her cheeks. Rylee never cried, ever. She pulled out the pink pendent and held it trying hard not to totally loose it. She heard his and her breath caught in her throat, he wasn’t joking right? He was really going to help Damian? The scent of blood hit her like a ton of bricks as she looked over to see Damian and that did it. The tears began to fall, there was not stopping them. “D…Damian! You’re supposed to me at the sanctuary healing. Oh you hard headed man! If we ever have children I do hope they don’t have your hard head.” She scolded as she watched Sam move in front of her. She took in a rather shaky breath and nodded rushing over to her mate’s side, the tears starting to slow. Her violet eyes went up to Sam as he lectured Damian. She moved her hand to Damian’s as she watched him, hoping his healing would work. It wasn’t that he didn’t trust Sam, it was just Damian they were talking about…she loved this man with everything she had. "Once your in bed again, I'll tell you who our guests are but, only when your in bed." She said in a stern yet loving tone.

Damian lifted his gaze to the man who started lecturing him. "There wasn't a bloody trail to my home. The only bloodiness is in my home." he countered. "A trail inside the home won't lead anyone here." his words coming out raspy. "Don't lecture me I don't even know you. I only let people I know lecture me." He panted hard. "And don't kiss my lady. Don't you know its rude to kiss or touch another man's mate without his go ahead?" he counter lectured. Though it came out in raspy pants. Two could play that figurative game. Besides which he was grumpy because he didn't like being weak but felt he deserved it for letting his guard down even a little.

"Not meaning any offense..." He added weakly. He wasn't trying to start a fight he was just being a grouch. He was normally much more at ease and poetic. He started weakly trying to batter the hands away. "I am an immortal. These injuries aren't going to kill me. These aren't the way you kill my breed of immortal." His words coming out in an obvious slur now. "What other person?" He asked. Well this was just dandy. He couldn't even keep up with this man and his commentings. "She doesn't need to protect me. Not a damn one of you knows how to truly kill me." he said in a weak huff.

He wasn't being careless. He didn't like the man implying he was too damn weak to throw a damn blade. It might overexert him but he would be damned if he let his mate get hurt. Even if it nearly killed him to protect her. "I would put myself in harms way no matter how weak I am...to keep Rylee alive." He spoke truly. He looked to Rylee as she started talking to him. He was a respectful man and even though he was a grouch right now he really liked Sam's attitude. it was similar to his own had the situation been reversed.

"Whoever you are dude...thanks." He spoke those words to Sam before trying to drag himself away from Sam's healing. He already felt better. He looked at Rylee. "I know. I want to be here with you though. Those beds hurt and the people there won't let me even use the bathroom by myself." He smiled at her. "Love you Rylee. By the way I'm not hard headed I'm stubborn and strongwilled. There is a vague difference." he teased. Wincing as he looked at Sam again. He was now half healed and pushed himself up. Able to gently push the angel's hands away. "Thank you angel but you've done enough healing on this young old man. You need to tend to the woman in the room." He said. His bleeding had stopped due to Sam's healing.

He touched Sam's shoulder lightly. "Thank you...for speeding up my healing. I appreciate it."

He then walked slowly over to Rylee. Kissing her lightly. "Okay white rose...to bed I go." He said. Leaning into the wall a bit. His breathing weary because immortals bodies are not easy to heal. Not by an outside source at least. The action drained an immortal as well as healed and energized him. Unless truly killed in the one way he could be killed...he would always regenerate. He walked against the wall towards the room. Crawling onto the bed and fell onto his back. Panting hard for a moment.

Peter had had a vision. He had checked it with the tarot cards. Now it involved Rylee so he of course had to immediately go tell Rylee. She was his best friend after all. The young druid slash lycanthrope caught a few scents the closer he got to the house. One smelled possibly human. Another was.......angel? And it wasn't the trader Hero's scent. What was another angel doing at Rylee's place? He said nothing. Mostly well because...he couldn't. he was born without a voice and talking by magic was highly draining upon his body. As he got closer he smelled Rylee and Damian as well. Were they having a party in there? His druid senses told him no but how often did Rylee or Damian have people over? Not often from what he knew. He got to the front door and knocked on it. Hoping somebody answered.

PostSubject: Re: Helping Two Strangers   Helping Two Strangers I_icon_minitimeSun Jun 24, 2012 2:30 pm

Moving from one setting to another, Asteria didn't stir, the warmth of his body and the gentle thump of his hearts oddly soothing despite not realizing it. Even in her unconscious state, she felt the beating against her form, felt the warmth he exuded, and relaxed all the more. The way that he walked, the rhythm of it, was enough to keep her in her lull, eyes closed, sounds unheard, conversations not understood.

She was free.

It wasn't until something cool touched down on her face, touching down from one spot to the next, that she started to come around. With each dab of the towel, a bit more coherence filled her. Her eyes remained closed, but her body was becoming all the more awake, her mind working over what had happened and the changes she felt around her.

First one being she was no longer on the hard ground. A hand slowly slid over the surface she found herself, fingers kneading into it in an effort to figure out what it was. A smooth, cool comforter lay beneath her, head shifting a bit on the pillow as her eyes started to open. It too a bit to be able to truly see as the room was so bright, but she managed. On the ceiling, they slid over the white walls, to the wooden furniture and then to the abandoned bowl of water to her side.

Her hand moved to where Sam had been sitting only moments before, feeling the heat as her brow furrowed. Where...Where did everybody...go...? Asteria wondered, slowly rising to a sitting position. Grasping her forehead as she felt the throbbing start, her legs swung over the side of the bed to touch down on the cool floor. A shiver moved through her, this time simply for the temperature change.

Feeling if her body was up to it, Asteria tried to stand, using her hands to steady herself on the bed. It was at that moment that she noticed for the first time what she was wearing, or lack thereof. Her shoes...were nonexistent. A few cuts on her feet, and she noted just how tender they were, which told her she'd been running from someone...She just wasn't sure who... An unsettling thought to be sure.

From there, she noticed she had some sort of a dress on, nothing fancy and rather dirty. A once pale blue fabric, the bottom seemed to be shredded, along with a few rips going up the skirt. Hmm... came a thought across her mind. I had to be running from something, right? But what? And where from? Her hands released the bed to run over herself a bit, trying to see if she were hurt. Apart from a sore ankle, and a couple cuts and bruises appearing on her legs, along with what looked like a hand-shaped bruise on her right arm, she was fine.

Spotting a mirror on the bedside vanity, she wandered over to it, a slow sort of gait as to account for the ankle and sore feet. In the reflection, she noted her bodice was more corsetted than she'd have liked, which probably accounted for the breathlessness she felt. Or..you know..could be the running, she told herself sarcastically. But wh-

Thought cutting off in that moment, something shifted. No longer was she standing in the bright white room, surrounded by bedding and knick knacks, but instead...someplace dark. Candles flickered somewhere beside her, and behind her, their dancing flames catching in the reflection she saw herself within. Her pale skin, luminescent in the flickering light's glow, she seemed...scared? Worried? But trying to hide it, from the look of things. A few others stood in the background against the wall, strategically placed by the doors and windows. A pair of hands slithered into view, a necklace being fastened around her neck...a neck that didn't look completely whole.

Punctures...Punctures were on the left side, blood sliding over her pale skin in slow-moving ribbons. Looking back at her eyes, they seemed gaunt, cheekbones far more prevalent than she'd seen last. The hands came to rest on her shoulders, a voice whispering in her ear. It wasn't a language she understood, sounded like a romantic gibberish. Trying to focus on the face that held such whispers, it was blurred. Nothing coming into focus, but rather remained in shadow, and the more she focused on it, the more it seemed to vanish.

A pain...

Pain came next, as she watched the figure's head lowering back to her neck, puncturing her again, though not in the same place she'd seen. Opposite side, her neck continued to bleed from the left as he sucked on the right. The pain flared, her body grew weak, her vision began to go as fuzzy as a voice, clear as day rang out, also speaking in Gibberish, apart from one name.

"Abbiamo bisogno di lasciare, Marius. Scadenze..."

"Marius?" she repeated aloud, stumbling back from the mirror as her hands grasped at her neck, searching for the blood she'd seen only moments prior...But they came up clean. Falling back on the bed, she pressed her back into the wall, shaking as she continued feeling for the blood, her mind confused at what she'd seen, as another voice crept into her mind.

That's it...Remember my name...Sam will be glad to know I'm around...

Sam... she thought, remembering his eyes and calling out his name, as her heartrate rose, trying to process what she'd seen.

"S-Sam?" came Asteria's voice, not terribly loud, but enough to know she'd be heard as knocking came at the door. "Sam...M-Marius..." She hoped that name meant more to him than it did to her.

A fleeting name without a face.

Helping Two Strangers Empty
PostSubject: Re: Helping Two Strangers   Helping Two Strangers I_icon_minitimeSun Jun 24, 2012 9:10 pm

Sam, merely sighed, barely even giving any of the words the man rattled off much stock. The simple fact of logic with the copious amount of blood that covered his body and the severity of the wounds themselves, Sam was fairly certain there would be a nice red trail leading to the house. If, by some miracle of a chance that he did not drip any blood as he dragged his stubborn self here, not the blood itself, then the scent alone would certainly have attracted predators. Vampires and werewolves could scent such a large amount of blood from over a mile away.

He might of well had stood outside with a giant neon sign, that flashed in big obnoxious font, “Weak and Easy Prey! Free for the Raping!”

"Not meaning any offense..." He added weakly. He wasn't trying to start a fight he was just being a grouch. He was normally much more at ease and poetic. He started weakly trying to batter the hands away. "I am an immortal. These injuries aren't going to kill me. These aren't the way you kill my breed of immortal."

Sam just rolled his eyes, stood and went to stand by the window. Such arrogance disgusted him to no end. Being immortal did not grant you the right to act in such a manner, especially not one that could suffer such wounds. As with most immortals, Sam was fairly certain that a nice clean decapitation would be the end of him and his smugness. Shame that the woman, Rylee, had given her heart to him and would likely end up alone with how he carried himself. Sam had seen enough men like him, rise to greatness and fall in shame because of their arrogance.

Sam's mind tuned out the rest of what the man said, finding himself not in the mood to be polite and respectable as parents had raised him, instead he contented himself with watching the woods. When the male touched his shoulder, he glanced over at him and simply nodded at the words of thanks. Sam figured he had merely delayed the inevitable that would be a “surprising” end of the cocky “Immortal” If you could be killed then you were not truly immortal, merely long lived.

"Marius?" she repeated aloud ...

Sam had begun to sink into his own thoughts again, the mortal world causing him pain for the ignorance and sin that seemed to run rampant. This being the case he had not noticed the girl on the bed moving and it was only when she whispered a certain name that his attention was instantly focused completely on her.

"S-Sam?" came Asteria's voice, not terribly loud, but enough to know she'd be heard as knocking came at the door. "Sam...M-Marius..." She hoped that name meant more to him than it did to her.

Moving with a sense of urgency he sat on the edge of the bed. The confusion, pain and terror he could feel coming from her, the only thing that kept him from reaching out and grabbing her. As it were there was almost a wild look in his usually calm and compassionate eyes.

Licking his suddenly dry lips, Sam took the time to compose himself before speaking to her, “It's alright...” he cooed to her softly, he needed her as calm and focused as possible. “Marius? You know him?”

Hands still clasping at her neck, periodically pulling them away to check for blood, not finding anything, Asteria's eyes fought to look at him. "I...I don't know. I saw something...heard a name...And a voice in my head? I sound like I've gone 'round the bend, but I haven't! I heard his name clear as day!"

“Hush now,” Sam coos to her reaching to take her hands in his own, with the plan to channel some of his healing power into her, with the hope it would calm her some. “I believe you. You heard him, in your head? As if he were speaking to you right now?” he questioned, being sure to keep his tone soft.

His hands touching her own threw her off for a second, the urge to yank them back and keep feeling her neck almost as strong as her desire to be calm and collected. "Part of it was a dream...a memory I think? But there was a comment...Different than the rest...like he saw what I was seeing and commented on it...Said that you'd be glad to know he was around?"

Sam held in the comment that he wanted to blurt out and instead just smiled sadly, “Well, he and I have a history of sorts,” pausing for a moment before continuing on, “Tell, what did you see before the voice spoke”

"Well..." she started. "I'd seen...myself in a reflection, though I still don't recognize myself...at all...Anyway, I'd seen a few men in the background, guarding doors, and windows...I'm assuming it was hum behind me though I never saw the face. It came in blurry..." Taking a moment, she loosed a deep breath, growing calmer with each breath that passed through her. "The more I tried to focus, the more the rest vanished...He'd been...biting my neck? And I'd had a necklace on...or he put one on me anyway...I don't know...Does any of that make sense?" Asteria asked, eyes looking into his, wholly worried.

Sam nodded his head slowly, it all did make perfect sense, “Marius is....well is a vampire,” he paused to give that bit of information a moment to set in, before he continued, “If you remember such a room, then he kept you there for feeding...he likes to....well....collar his....slaves...” carefully choosing his words, in some small hope of softening the magnitude of the information.

"A v-vampire...?" she repeated, the rest not registering right off. That she'd have been with a vampire...boggled her mind. "And I was a..." Well that explains the bite marks...and the necklace for that matter... "But...But...I don't understand. If he's this...How did I...?" She didn't even know how to word it. Escape? Or maybe he let her loose? So many questions...

“I don't know all the answers, honestly you would be a first I have found...” he stopped himself. Saying, alive, probably not going to make her feel any better. “You are the first to escape. But if he is speaking in your mind...that means he is close,” looking at her sadly, “He is not one to let what he believes belongs to him, roam about. I expect he will want you back,” sighing Sam stood and walked back to the window, granting himself a moment to collect his thoughts.

While this meant that he was indeed where he needed to be, that also posed a new dilemna. This girl could be bait for him to use to lure Marius to him, and yet....Samyaza was not sure he himself could do that. Sacrificing one to save the many, is a familiar creed that had been ingrained into his life since he could remember. Yet, in that same breath, he is charged with the protection of the innocent from evil and using one such as this girl to bait such an evil as Marius....did not sit well with the Nephilim. Should he fail, again, the girl would be back in the hands of that monster. Killing her now would be a better mercy than that fate.

Turning back to face the girl on the bed summoned his word to his hand, raising the blade so that the flat of the cool metal rested against his forehead, his eyes closed for a moment in silent prayer. Then he lowered it so that the point was at her, his eyes hard, a look of determination etched on his otherwise chiseled and perfect features. Drawing the sword back as if to strike, eyes focused completely on her.

Then with an unnatural grace he dropped to one knee before her, his sword now resting along the palms of both his hands, he bowed as he offered the sacred blade to her.

“I, Samyaza, son of heaven and earth, champion of the light and bringer of justice. Do swear my blade to your protection and defense.” his voice rang out with power, the blade beginning to glow with the invocation of his voice. “Please, accept me as your protector and take my blade”

She watched Damian and sighed brushing her blonde hair out of her eyes and shook her head, "You may be immortal but I'm not living a life as a widow.I love you to much." She shot back and sighed, at least he was somewhat healed. She looked at him and nodded, "I'll bring you some food." She said as he made his way to their room. She looked at the women who was calling for Sam and was about to turn and face her when their was a knock on her door. More people? This was definitely the most people she had ever had in her home...ever. She walked to the door and caught the scent of her best friend Peter. She opened the door and smiled, "Hello Peter, come in. We have two guests here in the home so that explains the two scents." She said seeing the expression. "What can I do for you?" She asked motioning for him to come into the living room and sit. She loved seeing her best friend she just hoped that his vision was not bad.

Damian really didn't care what Samyaza thought about him. He wasn't trying to make friends with the dude in his house. He really only cared about helping protect the people of the realm. Besides there was only ONE immortal who couldn't be killed. Even dieties such as Zeus and Odin could die. The only difference was they just didn't stay dead. The omniputant God that Samyaza served was the one and only immortal who could not be killed. He nodded to Rylee but closed his eyes. The last thought of...Peter is here trailed off as he fell asleep.

Peter waited silently for Rylee to come to the door. He hoped it was Rylee who answered and not somebody he didn't know. Though he really didn't have much option on the silent part. Being born without a voice wasn't something you had any option in. He shifted side to side and didn't smell any dangerous scents. So that meant the people inside were possibly friends of Rylee's. He didn't know though as he hadn't caught the two other scents before. He smiled and nodded his head. Hugging her lightly as he came inside. Signing...~One male. One female. Right?~

He smiled as she asked him what he could do for her. He followed her into the living room. The older female was his best friend. It had taken her a little while to keep up with his signing but since she had understood what he was signing it made "talking" with her easier. He learned to slow down so she could keep up. He waved his hands in front of him to signify it was nothing bad. His vision wasn't.

He smiled at her. Pointing at her then symboled -r- then going two have...followed by rocking his arms like he was holding a baby. Laughing like he was really happy and he was. He knew Rylee wanted a baby. He then stopped rocking his arms and looked at her. Hoping she would be excited by the news like he thought she would be.

The last of his words had her heart plummeting. He'll...come back for me... Asteria repeated to herself. Eyes looking at his back, she felt the tears for the umpteenth time starting up and her breathing started to become erratic. Had she had more energy...she'd have made a break for it.

But the longer she thought about it, it didn't seem to make much of a difference to her either way. If he could talk to her, without being in the room, he was already close. What are the chances I'd make it out of here alive, in one piece, and away from him?

A question that Ast didn't want to answer.

As she watched Sam's back, trying to figure out what he was thinking, she tried to act nonchalant when he turned around...and pointed his sword at her. The look in his eyes, the sheer determination everywhere on his features, as he looked at her, made her want to sit further away from him feeling completely daunted by such a look. Her gaze slid from the back his face to the sword still pointing in her direction, wondering if he was going to kill her, face draining of what little color it had regained.

But, when he dropped, she leaned forward the smallest fraction forward, trying to understand what he was doing as he offered the blade forward.

“I, Samyaza, son of heaven and earth, champion of the light and bringer of justice. Do swear my blade to your protection and defense. Please, accept me as your protector and take my blade."

Her eyes widened, staring at the blade as it glowed, lighting up his features and her own. Weighing her options, she hesitated, her mind working over what she could or couldn't do.

Well...I could try and handle this on my own...Run away and see how far I get... she reasoned, eyes glancing out the window. But like he said...Marius won't let me go. And he's here somewhere which means my chances for escape are next to nil...But...If I had Sam as my protector..I might have a chance. Her thought paused as her heart sank. But what if he's hurt trying to protect you? What if he dies because of you? Ast asked herself. ...I'll accept him as my protector, but the minute this gets too bad, I'll run. Save him and accept whatever happens.

Sliding forward on the bed, she nodded, taking up his sword, surprised at how light it was, and nodded. "I swear your blade to my protection and defense...I accept you as my protector..." Asteria whispered, looking up at him, still holding the sword out before her, not really sure what to do with it.

It wasn't until she'd paused that she heard Rylee had been talking to someone else. Looking confused out the door, her brow furrowed. "Who's that?" she asked, wary of anyone else being around her. All strangers and such...Can't be too careful.

She nodded to Peter, "Yes one male and one female." She nodded and leaned back crossing her legs and blinked; "R..." She said and watched his movements carefully. She caught all his movements and stared for a moment though she knew what he said it just stunned her for a few moment, "I..I'm pregnant?" She asked and looked down at her flat stomach, her pregnant? It was a dream come true for her and she smiled her whole face lighting up. "Thank you for telling me Peter." She said happily and got up hugging him and couldn't wait for Damian to know, though she'd wait to tell him till he woke up, he needed his rest. Though she was ecstatic, she always wanted a baby but due to the areas she always was with Damian they needed to keep the peace, they had no time to think about a family, nor bringing another keeper into the world. Now...now was different she just hope things continued going smoothly.

The blade in her hand glowed brightly, the light pulsing in unison to the flaring of the power in his eyes, growing in strength with each pulse.

“By your words,” his voice reverberated with power, the light in the room growing in power as it began to encompass the both of them. The blade soon became nothing but light, a light that spread from her hand and up the length of her right arm. Where it settled on her wrist, the intensity increasing to a near blinding light as Sam seemed to be pulled into his angelic form. The black feathered wings folded against his back as his palms rested on the floor. The same light that was encompassing her arm was doing the same upon his own, though while hers was merely the light, his was also heat.

A grimace took hold of his otherwise perfect features as the light burned and seared into his flesh, the light taking on intricate designs and shapes. When it finally faded Sam was panting heavily, the flesh on his wrist now scared and marked with a symbol, it pulsed and glowed twice causing its mirrored twin upon her wrist to do the same before the light disappears completely. There Sam kneels in the room, once again in his human form.

“The contract is sealed. We are now bound to one another,” Sam's voice was soft, almost weak in the stillness of the room. Slowly he stands, wavering for a moment as his eyes look upon his new charge, “Whenever you need me I will be there. I will protect you from all harm. This,” he says raising his wrist for her to see, “Is a seal of protection from evil, it is mirrored on your wrist and binds us together. Now, he cannot feed upon you and should you be taken from me I can and will be able to find you” his tone growing in strength as time went on.

Turning toward where the woman, Rylee had exited, his eyes glowed for a moment, “Just another wolf. This place seems to be full of them,” he said in a matter fact tone before turning back to face the girl on the bed. “Until you can remember your name I shall call you Armaita,” taking a seat on the bed he looked into her eyes, as if he searched for something hidden within. “Perhaps being named for the angel of truth it will help you to remember” he gives her a encouraging smile before going to the door.

“Now, we need to find a place for us to stay. I would rather not endanger anyone else needlessly,” he looked out the room at the woman who had helped them earlier.

“Excuse me?” he called to her, waiting for her attention before continuing, “Where might we find a place of our own?”

Peter felt the surge of power and looked towards it. What was going on in there? Well it was none of his concern. So long as it wasn't dangerous, which he felt it wasn't, it wasn't worth worrying about. Whatever it was was between the two in the room. He looked to Rylee. Nodding his head. Rocking his arms like a baby was in it again. He smiled at her and nodded her head. Signing ~your welcome~ before hugging her back. He tapped her belly. Then put up two fingers. Then tapped her belly again and repeated two fingers.

He walked over to Samyaza. Signing to him. ~Hero's place.~ He paused ~The four winged man Marquis Hero...has a manor with hundreds of rooms. He'll let anyone and everyone stay there for free. So long as he senses no true evil from you.~ He paused and pointed in the direction of the meadows. ~He will be glad to see another from heaven. He'll help you...and he is a trader.~ He was guessing about the being from heaven part since the auras he had were similar to hero's while still different. He then walked back over to the couch. Stopping and turned. Signing. ~Safer than going to an inn. Less likely to put anyone in danger. Until you can afford to buy a place of your own.~ He "spoke" using his hands. Having a feeling Samyaza would understand. Even so he had signed it out slowly.

Then walked back to the couch to sit with Rylee. Hugging his best friend again. Silently mouth. I'm happy for you. Then sat back on the couch.. Pulling out some alchemy made perfume. Handing it to her for her to smell.

(OOC: he meant Hero would help short term until they get on their feet. give them a safe place to stay til they can afford their own home)

Sam frowned and his brow furrowed as he took in the information from this stranger. The only thing that had saved him from being rightly threatened, was that the Mistress of the house appeared to be on good terms with him and thus made Sam, somewhat at ease. Not much but somewhat. However, the suggestion to stay with a four winged creature that claimed to be an angel did not sit well with Sam, not at all. Angels had merely a pair of wings, any other creature that had more, was not to be trusted. Especially, given that this person also dealt in material items and possessions, no self respecting agent of God would allow themselves to get mixed up in such shallow dealings. Sam said as much as he signed, for he was not sure if the person was also deaf, and spoke aloud for the sake for those who he knew could hear.

“While your, information is, kind, I fear I must decline. I cannot with good conscious place my charge in harms way at the hands of this supposed Angel. What I know of the Angelic world, from my Father, is that they have only one pair, so him having four, certainly does not sit well in my stomach. Combined that with the fact that he deals in such shallow and materialistic dealings of items for profit and personal want, further causes me to question his true divine nature. Despite the fact I could put others in danger, I would choose the Inn over staying with someone claiming to be of heavenly origins when their behavior and appearance says otherwise. While yes, the age old adage of judging a book by its cover would come into play here, I simply cannot risk the harm to my charge, should this Hero, person be of demonic nature with excellent skill at hiding and trickery. I have met many in my years who were capable of such, so I am going to air on the side of caution.” he looked to Rylee when he spoke next.

“Is there a way that I might exchange my gifts and talents for a means of earning lodging or even a dwelling for myself and my charge, Armaita? I do not believe in gold or any form of currency as that only ever brings out the worst in people. But, I have no qualms about working and providing a service for a fair trade. I am strong and as you have seen I can heal and have a wonderful bedside manner, so I can do either manual labor or healing. Truthfully, I am not opposed to do anything as long as someone does not mind teaching should it be a skill that I do not already know,” his tone soft and sincere as he lowered his hands to cross them about his chest as he waited, glancing over his shoulder to look in on Armaita , needing to make sure she was still alright.

Right now Rylee was over the moon with happiness, she was pregnant! It was so exciting. She smiled at Peter before hearing Sam ask where they could stay and was about to answer when Peter began signing so she didn't cut in. She blinked at his signing about the Inn, the Inn was fine. She was about to speak again hen Sam began speaking and once more she stayed quite and listened to Sam speak about Hero and she blinked. After she felt he was done she spoke, "Well Sam, You are both welcome to stay here, for free, I only ask that you clean up after yourselves. I do not want to come home and find a big mess...I have a job at the Storybrooke Daycare. Also, there is the Storybrooke Inn, you will have to speak to Sojo and River if you wish to stay there. However if you want a home of you own, you will need to speak to Kambria. She is the judge and can give you information on getting your own house." She said. And looked at them both. Then she remembered the abandoned house near the beach and looked back to Sam, "You know, I just remembered there is an abandoned house near the beach, it hasn't been occupied in what seems like a while. You can always redo it, live there." She said moving into the kitchen, "Anyone want some tea?" She asked.

Sam listened intently, though he shook his head at the notion of staying there with her. That was something he could definitely not do, especially given the fact she was expecting a child. He would never forgive himself if something happened her or her child. At the mention of the abandoned house Sam's interest was grabbed, “This house? It is just free for the taking? Or would I have to see someone about it?”

Rylee thought for a moment, "It's free, hasn't been used for years. You don't have to visit Kambria unless your running a bussiness out of the home. That way it can be put on the map. Like Lady Rosalie's Spa." She told him seeing that his attention was grabbed by the mention of the home on the beach.

"I would like to have this home. It is away from others and I can fix it with materials I earn through work," his smile was one of true excitement. "But of course I will be here working to repay you for all the kindness you have shown me"

Rylee looked toward the door that lead to where her mate was resting, a soft sigh leaving her lips. She was glad he was okay just... wished he would get better faster, she had great news to tell him and the faster he got well the faster she could stop worrying. She heard Sam and looked back at him her purple eyes looking into his as she smiled as the excitement he couldn't contain shook her head. "Don't worry about repaying me, any good person would have done it. If the home needs any repairs and you need help just ask. I'll be happy to help." She said with a bright smile.

"I am still very new to this place, so if I could barrow you from time to time, to get directions about this place I would be greatly appreciate it. As well as let me help if you need it?" he smiled not going to let her get out of him helping her.

She nodded, "I can tell you where to go, no problem." She told him with a smile and heard the question about him helping her and frowned just a bit before nodded, "Fine, I'll let you help." She said. Sure was stubborn wasn't he? That or just really kind, either way, Rylee thought he was a very nice guy so letting him come and go from her house didn't seem like a big issue.

“Excellent! I will go and tell Armaita!” this so far was the best news that he has had in a long while. Leaving he went back into the bedroom, “Armaita, I have a place for us to go and be safe,” he smiled sitting on the edge of the bed. “When you are strong enough we will go. Ok?” he asked

That the blade had begun to glow brighter and brighter, pulsing as the light in his eyes fill the entirety of the room wasn't lost on her.

If anything, it was the only thing she could focus on.

His words fell on deaf ears as the blade became nonexistent, but rather a light snaking its way up her arm and back down to her wrist. Natural reaction for her would have been to widen her eyes in shock, but that would have merely burned her retinas, the light so blinding she had to close them to keep her headache at bay. Even that wasn't enough as it was still clear as day through her lids.

Waiting until the light subsided, and peeking through a slit in her eyelids to make sure it was over, Asteria finally hazarded a look at what had happened. Wh-What is that?? she thought, half-panicked, half-shocked at the new addition to her arm. It was a small thing, that symbol, marking her skin though there was no pain. Running a finger over it, she heard Sam's words which caused her to glance up, eyes falling on his own wrist to see the mirrored image. He can't feed on me? Ast thought to herself, eyes widening as her gaze found her own mark once more, wondering at it. How could something like that...stop him...?

Her eyes widened at the name he gave her, being named for an angel causing her heart to jump for a moment. "Armaita..." she repeated softly, not sure how she felt about the name. Something about it didn't feel right, didn't feel like it could ever really be her name, but it wasn't like she had anything else to go by; It wasn't as if she could continue being called "you" or any other such pronouns. That only added to the solidifying feeling of hopelessness should she dwell on it too long. At least this was a name, even if she knew it wasn't her own. Perhaps this name, this angel, would help bring about the lost memories she desperately sought.

Watching him wander away to talk to Rylee, she went back to examining her wrist, tracing a finger idly over the mark that now adorned her skin. Though she didn't feel any of the lines, the image didn't waiver, was just as prevalent then as it had been upon its inception. While listening to bits and pieces of the conversation, she felt like she missed a few moments, not that it really fazed her. Sam said he'd protect her, so she trusted him, at least more than she trusted herself.

How can you trust yourself when you don't even know your own name?

After a time, movement caught her eye as Sam came back to her, the name he'd chosen for her resounding, though she didn't respond to it. It was still too foreign a name to associate with herself yet. Her legs pulled into her chest, holding them to her with her arms as she listened to what he had to say. "When I'm strong enough?" she repeated. "...I doubt I'll get any stronger than I am now...We could go, unless you had more to do here...Where is this place you found? Is it far?"

Sam frowned slightly, her body language worrying him some, "Well I do not think it is too far, I was planning on carrying you. That is if you let me anyway. I am sure Rylee will give us excellent directions, but it is on the beach" he smiled trying to reassure her as he reached out slowly to rest a hand on her arm, if she were to allow it, "You, ok?"

Ast nodded, her brow furrowing. "I'm fine," she answered quietly. Though she didn't move away from his touch, the feeling offering a small bit of comfort, she wasn't about to explain to him that, being so pulled into herself, made her feel safer...more whole. It was a jarring thing, almost an out-of-body experience, or an inner one depending on how you looked at it. "It's on the beach? Sounds...Well...I'm not sure how it sounds, but you said it's safe?"

Sam nodded, "We will be away from strangers whom I cannot trust and I can put up a protective barrier that will keep all evil out. You will be safe, I swear this to you" he lightly rubbed her arm hoping to add more comfort to her.

That had her eyes dropping for a moment before coming back to look into his own, hesitance swirling in their dark depths. "How can you trust me? I'm a stranger...I could have done horrible things...Why would you swear yourself to someone you couldn't even begin to know? What if I'm the evil you're trying to keep out?"

Sam smiled his hand gripping her hand to give it a comforting squeeze, "I can feel evil and you, my dear are not evil. I know this deep within my soul, for if you were evil I would not have been able to bond with you. My soul would have rejected it," he rubbed at her arm again, hoping his words helped to at least put her mind somewhat at ease.

His words didn't comfort her much, about as much as his touch did, her shoulders pulling up into a shrug, not really agreeing nor disagree with him. "...So when do we leave? I've imposed on this woman's hospitality long enough."

Frowning a bit he allowed his hand to fall to the bed, "We can leave now," he said softly as he stood and extended his hand out to help her stand.

She hesitated, looking at his hand before reaching forward to take hold of it softly, scooting off of the bed. It took a moment, waiting for her body to acclimate to the standing position before one of her hands reached down to shift her dress about. "Alright, good...After you?"

Sam nodded and turned leading the way out of the room, seeking Rylee in the kitchen, "Thank you for your help and hospitality. In order to ensure the safety of not only you, but my charge as well, we are going to be leaving," he reached for her hand taking it into his own for a light shake and gentle kiss along the back of it. "I shall return to repay my debt to, as well as to bother you for directions" he winked at her, then headed for the door and exited the home.

Once outside he closed his eyes and allowed himself to shift into his angelic form. Swiping his wings back behind him, he extends a hand out to Armaita. "While walking would be good exercise and would give us a chance to chat a bit more, I can get us there a lot faster" he smiled warmly to her.

When she took his hand he would pull her to him, holding her close to him for a moment before he scooped her up into his arms. His ivory wings would raise overhead, while he crouched low then with a flap and a jump, he would leap into the air. With the directions that Rylee provided he would head toward their new home at the beach.
