A new start

It was clear that they where stopping here and this was where they where going to be living, so it was time to start looking for a job. She hoped Rusty wasn't freaking out looking for her, she did leave a little early. She pushed open the doors of the Entrance Room and looked around for the King the Queen or anyone who could pass along a message. She wanted to the the Keeper of the wardrobe, she could handle the wardrobe and wash the clothing, so that was the job she would apply for, she hoped Rusty appeared she could use his support...she really liked him and liked being around him.

Rusty had at first freaked out when he came home and Aubrie wasn't there. Then he found her note. Once he read it he packed up his things and took off after her. He hoped to find her because he really liked her. Being around her made this oversized teddy bear feel happy. He followed her scent in a hunting dog form. Sniffing the ground every so often so as to not lose the scent. He finally caught the scent stronger near a big castle and he shifted back. Walking into the entrance and looked around. Spotting Aubrie he let out a sigh of relief. Hurrying over to her. "Aubrie! I finally found you." He said with a smile. Giving his good friend a hug. Then let her go and looked around. "Applying for a job here?" He asked. Not sure what else she would be doing in a castle other than that.

Aubrie looked pretty, she worked it out with Lady Rosalie who gave her a discount on a beauty treatment so she looked her best while going to apply for jobs. She had her nails done and her hair. She smiled looking around just as she heard Rusty and turns around just in time to get a hug and she smiled hugging him back and she nodded, "Yeah, I'm apply to be the keeper of the wardrobe." She said with a happy tone and looked around, "It's early I don't even know if they ones in the castle are even up..." She said playing with her black dress feeling very nervous already.

The Queen was up enjoying a cup of tea and the peace and quiet in the back room. She took the cup in her hand, lifted it up to her lips and took a sip. She then heard voices and caught the scents. She set the cup down on the saucer gently and got up. She made her way to the entrance room and smiled. "Hello. How can I help you?" She asked with a smile and moved over to sit down in a chair as she gestured for both the male and the female to sit down with her as she brushed her blonde hair out of her face and put her hands back in lap.

Xion walked with his cane towards where he smelled a gathering of shifters. This was going to be an interesting day. He stood just off to the side and stared at them. "Milady I must protest you fratinizing with people you don't even know. It is quite dangerous." He said in a gruff voice. He shook his head. "I will stay here to make sure you are in no danger. Any danger towards the queen will be swiftly dealt with." He said in a grouchy voice. Not moving otherwise. Tempted to hit someone with his cane. He was having a bad day.

Rusty was happy she hugged him back. Quite relieved to be with her again. Nodding his head in understanding. "I see. Completely understand." He said with a smile. He looked around and nodded his head. Letting her go and stood at her side. Still half holding onto her with one arm wrapped around her waist. He saw the queen come up and walked with Aubrie over to her. He saw the grouchy man and frowned. What crawled up his ass? His serious features belied the lethal teddy bear underneath.
